DTM HTTP Interceptor

The DTM HTTP Interceptor is a free tool designed to block unwanted HTTP requests based on configurable URL filtering rules.

A dedicated HCL Notes database allows Domino administrators to define URL blacklists and control which requests are allowed to reach the HCL Domino HTTP server.

  • On Linux systems, the interceptor can work alongside Fail2ban to block offending IP addresses at the system level, using information recorded in HCL Domino logs.
Configuration & Logging

DTM HTTP Interceptor Configuration

Configuration is managed through documents in an HCL Notes database. Changes take effect dynamically, without requiring a restart of the HCL Domino server.

URL FilteringAdministrators can define blacklisted URLs using either complete URLs or partial paths, allowing them to block requests that match specific patterns.

The URLs can be defined as complete or partial paths.

DTM HTTP Interceptor Logging

Information about blocked HTTP requests is recorded in an HCL Notes database, providing administrators with a history of intercepted requests.
